Therapeutic Approach:

My clinical background equips me with evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LiCBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy.

I believe in empowering clients to understand themselves as the experts in their own lives, which is why I advocate for psychoeducation as a cornerstone of therapy.

I founded Advah Health Clinic (www.advahtlv.com) to integrate diverse therapies and medical services, working collaboratively to prioritise our clients' best interests. As the clinic owner, I’m familiar with all our therapists' specialties. If I believe another therapist is better suited to your needs, I’ll gladly connect you.

My goal is to make this process as smooth and supportive as possible.

Therapy provides space to explore and unpack challenges in a delicate and intricate way. I view therapy as both a science and an art... and it would be an honour to support you to witness your journey of growth.

I’ll weave together therapeutic models while you bring your authentic self, as the expert in your own experience. We’ll work together to open up possibilities, help you feel confident embracing the future, and gain clarity and direction for the life you choose to live.

I specialise in helping people navigate everyday mental health concerns, implicit traumas that influence self-identity, life transitions and relationship challenges, as well as long-term physical health conditions like chronic pain or diabetes.

What I can help with:

  • Managing stress, burnout, and emotional distress

  • Navigating anxiety, depression, and panic attacks

  • Coping with stressful life events and major transitions

  • Building confidence and nurturing self-worth

  • Developing assertiveness and active communication skills

  • Establishing healthy boundaries and improving relationships

  • Strengthening intimacy and connection

  • Managing chronic pain and physical health challenges

  • Embracing relaxation and mindfulness techniques for calm and balance

  • Living in alignment with your values

  • Understanding and navigating emotional waves

  • Exploring and affirming your sense of self and cultural identity

  • Problem-solving through challenges with clarity and focus

  • Overcoming procrastination and building motivation

  • Cultivating resilience, patience, and self-compassion

What to expect from the therapy process with me…

  1. Consultation Call: I’ll offer you a brief phone call to understand what you're looking for and see if we're a good fit.

  2. Assessment: We'll explore what’s bringing you to therapy and how the issue may be affecting your life.

  3. Therapeutic Plan: From there, we'll work together to create a plan that aligns with your goals and intentions.

  4. Review Sessions: We'll periodically review how things are going, recognise growth points and address any challenges or stuck points to guide our next steps.

  5. Closure and Follow-Up: As therapy progresses, we’ll gradually reduce session frequency and wrap up in an empowering way, equipping you with tools for the future. I offer a three-month follow-up as a way of checking in.

And, of course, I’m always here for you. If life takes an unexpected turn, you can reach out for a one-off session or restart therapy whenever needed.

"Though we might internalise our experiences, and what is told to us by others, as the truth, our problems do not define us. Through curiosity and an openness to where conversation can lead, we work on building an alternative narrative enabling full, non-judgemental expression, and endless possibilities.”
